[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreigner and Hutch. Who's to say what day it is? Who's to say what time it is? It's definitely not day. This would be a terrible form of day given the current ambient lighting situation happening on both of our. Thank you for joining us on YouTube or the audio platforms of your. [00:00:22] Speaker B: We're also gonna print these out, these episodes out on floppy disks and put them in local libraries all around the Bay Area. [00:00:29] Speaker A: Jake, do you have any personal idea or just a general idea? It doesn't have to be personal. Of the storage of a single floppy disk. [00:00:37] Speaker B: Do you know, I want to say it's like two megabytes. [00:00:43] Speaker A: Is that, I believe, 3.4. [00:00:46] Speaker B: Okay. I was, I was close. I have to. I did have to use a floppy disk. I will say you'll be surprised by this. I did have to use a floppy disk in elementary school for my typing class, class that we took. And that was the first and last time we used it. [00:01:01] Speaker A: Is this is something that you had to know as a child of the late 90s, early aughts of Napster. And could you compress a song small enough to put onto a single floppy disk? [00:01:15] Speaker B: How many floppy disk would it take to share one episode of this? Yeah, probably. [00:01:23] Speaker A: I can give you. I can give you a functional answer. [00:01:26] Speaker B: So I look how long we go. [00:01:28] Speaker A: This is a good opportunity to plug one of the sillier things that I've started to do here in all of my ample free time. [00:01:35] Speaker B: Peter's built his own compression software. [00:01:38] Speaker A: Yeah, that's exactly what I did. It's a zipper. Our file. I did an hour long NBA season preview with Danny Emmerman over on my channel. [00:01:49] Speaker B: Shout out, Danny. [00:01:50] Speaker A: 1.44 gigabytes. You can do the math. [00:01:54] Speaker B: That's not good. [00:01:56] Speaker A: It's not good. [00:01:57] Speaker B: That would be a floppy. [00:01:59] Speaker A: It'd be a big old stack. And we're gonna leave it at that. [00:02:03] Speaker B: We'll talk about the 49ers now. [00:02:04] Speaker A: I guess the Commanders have to come along too. Can I say this about the commanders? I'll say something nice about the Washington commanders. I, I still love their wide receivers. I, I'm still. I know they're not great, but boy, that is a. That is a, an impressive crew that they got there. [00:02:23] Speaker B: I am downright like buying all the Traylon Burke stock that there is because I swear to God, I was watching that game and I'm like, he's sick. He's like legitimately sick now. He had like Renardo and Lenore. Granted, there's a couple times he Just like fully pushed off and it didn't get called. But he had some nice, nice routes. I was very impressed with him. [00:02:50] Speaker A: I, I very much enjoyed him coming out of Arkansas. He went 18th overall. The Titans, that, that was never going to work and he got blamed for a lot of Will Levis's problems. But he has really kind of developed into a really nice receiver and he's got two things that you're really looking for because there's a lot of guys in the NFL who are fast and fast and quick aren't the same thing. This guy's fast. I think he's quick, but he's mostly fast. But he also wide. This is a thick boy, moving at 225 at the minimum and he's moving a lot. And I don't know a lot about physics, but that seems like a pretty good combination. [00:03:31] Speaker B: I think he's going to have like a legitimate. I don't know what his contract situation is, but if he can time it for next year. I think there's a situation where he like sets himself up for like a borderline Alec Pierce situation where you kind of hit it with a, for a one year wonder and then he really gets paid. Like he looks like good, good. Aside from like Sonny Styles and Ron Payne, he was like the commander who impressed me the most. [00:03:54] Speaker A: By the way, Traylon Burke's 26 years old. He is a free agent at the end of the year. He was someone I advocated for in the spring for the 49ers to sign as a flyer. As an ex receiver flyer. 1.9 million on the cap for this year. Adam Peters and John lynch have each other's phone numbers. Let's put it at that. [00:04:15] Speaker B: I doubt Washington gives him up given that. Lauren. [00:04:21] Speaker A: Yeah, I doubt. I tried to resign. I don't know where Washington's going in that division. They can on every play. It doesn't seem. They don't seem to know what down it is or where they're going. [00:04:33] Speaker B: And it's funny, it's like I think Dan Quinn did know what down it was, but I also think he was confused and his staff was confused. So whatever explanation there was is not great generally. [00:04:44] Speaker A: I think I know. I think he knows what down it was. They were just really confused about what down it was. Am I, am I correct in your analysis? [00:04:51] Speaker B: They were confused about how the penalty affected the play, which is honestly pretty much as damning. I think he didn't know it was fourth down, but that's not saying much. [00:05:05] Speaker A: Like [00:05:07] Speaker B: I think they thought they were going to get a do over with the penalty because they thought they were [00:05:11] Speaker A: going to get a free play. [00:05:12] Speaker B: Daniels, Daniels threw it away. So he's like, oh, it must have been, you know, like something on them. And so it was so confusing that Daniels threw it away that I think that threw them for a loop where they're like, well, we can go for a field goal now if we get backed up. [00:05:25] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:26] Speaker B: Pre snap. Even though the play played out, which is. There's no good explanation. I'm just saying I do think he knew it was fourth down. [00:05:34] Speaker A: Not to belabor this point, but the only good explanation is, oh, our quarterback threw it away. He's got a better view than we do. Surely he didn't just throw it away on fourth down. That. I'll give Dan Quinn a pass on that. We are now asking some serious question about Jalen Daniels ability to understand time, space and reason. [00:05:56] Speaker B: By the way, not a criticism of him for like smiling, but he is like, regardless of what situation they're in. I've never seen someone smile as much as him. He's like, just takes a shot and they're down by 20 points and he looks like the happiest man in America. [00:06:12] Speaker A: I had to take a little bit of his energy last night. About 1:30 in the morning, I'm like, oh, I had to drink some, I'd drink some Earl Grey tea to stay up long enough to drive home. And I'm sitting there and my brain does not function, but I also can't go to sleep. And I'm just like, I love this. Right? Yeah. I'm gonna, I'm gonna convince myself that I enjoy this grind. [00:06:34] Speaker B: By the way, London fogs, that's, that's, that's my move. You know, when I get to that, what happens is at 3 o' clock, we're never gonna talk about this game. We're just gonna talk about sleep cycles, floppy disks. At about 3, 3 o' clock in the afternoon or 3:30 every day, I get immediately very tired and then I look at the clock and I go, I have to either make caffeine right now. Right. Or it won't happen. And then I usually forget because tea's got to steep. But if I do remember, make a London Fog, you know, what is that? A little, little 2%, little steam, milk, and then you throw the tiniest splash of vanilla in there. [00:07:12] Speaker A: Oh, oh, now that's behind that. [00:07:14] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:07:15] Speaker A: You see, I've drank my tea black or, you know, straight, no sugar, nothing. My entire life. I don't drink coffee. I will drink tea. I do consume. And I probably shouldn't mention this publicly. A obscene amount of Coke Zero. [00:07:31] Speaker B: That's right. It's concerning. [00:07:33] Speaker A: It's not, though. [00:07:35] Speaker B: It is into the Rivian at times where there's nothing. There's no seat. It's just Coke Zero. [00:07:40] Speaker A: Yeah, that. Yeah. Walmart delivers me a lot of Coke Zero at the beginning of everything. [00:07:48] Speaker B: They just keep showing up at this point. [00:07:50] Speaker A: Hey, Coca Cola. Coca Cola bottlers of Northern California. I've been keeping y' all in business for a minute now. Why don't we repay the favor? [00:07:58] Speaker B: Enough with the AI Polar bear ads. Give Dieter free soda. [00:08:03] Speaker A: Get some real football analysis, which we will never do. Okay. I like Traylon Burks. They did a nice enough job there. Washington did in taking advantage. Let's just lean into this not a well coordinated secondary game for the San Francisco 49ers. I mean, Renardo Green's reading his press clippings. D' Amador Lenore still doing two or three silly things a game. The safeties were always going to have a point. [00:08:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:31] Speaker A: The safeties were always going to have a tough game. Just given running quarterback and. And Jair Brown with a running quarterback. I mean, that's catnip. There's. There's no way he's not taking the bait left, right, and center. And he did. And he still comes and makes some nice run fits. And you're like, well, you know, does the good outweigh the bad? No, but there's some good. [00:08:50] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:50] Speaker A: If not for Malik Mustafa having just a monstrous game in general, and then obviously those two final plays, I think we'd be talking a hell of a lot more about what were they doing on the back end, like, legitimately. A lot of plays were going back and forth, like, I don't know, the wheel. [00:09:07] Speaker B: It also felt like they were doing some fun stuff with, like, five band fronts. And then they went, oh, no, this. Oh, we forgot about the secondary a couple times. Yeah, yeah. It was just. It was not like assignment sound at all. They just didn't know what they were doing at times, which is very strange. And then there are a couple times where, like, Burks or somebody would just snap off and it was like they wouldn't put their foot in their ground and drive on the ball. It was very odd after, like, a very, very, very strong start to the season from Renardo in particular. He looked bad. Lenore also looked bad at times. Yeah, Jair looked bad at times. I thought Mustafa didn't really have any Issues, for the most part, in cover. [00:09:47] Speaker A: No, he was all. He was all positive. [00:09:49] Speaker B: I mean, he was just tremendous. But without him, it's like. And then. Oh, and then Ashton Davis and Upton [00:09:55] Speaker A: Stout, like, that's a duo. [00:09:58] Speaker B: I didn't think Stout was horrific. I was. I think it was like the injury that got him benched because Davis was objectively far worse. [00:10:08] Speaker A: Like, well, they just kept blitzing him because they're like, well, he can't do anything else. [00:10:11] Speaker B: Yeah, it's. And it's tough to get put in at the end of the game in that situation. And then you're just, like, stumbling over your own foot trying to, like, catch Traylon Burks on a deep crosser. [00:10:21] Speaker A: He's got Antonio Williams or Stefon Diggs on him, and it's like, oh, no, no, no, no. That's not what he's meant to do. Yeah, he's supposed to be, like, gunning on special teams. He's Saron Neal's backup. Like, what are we doing here? Put Saran Neal in. I don't. I saw him put the clamps on in the preseason. That was a very bizarre circumstance. I don't know. I don't know if they were trying. And again, I. I earnestly mean this in watching it. And you try to be like, okay, what are they trying to do? Because not everything is going to be here. Yeah, cut and dry, right? Like, what is this play call if we're just being loose with it? And there were a lot of them where I'm like, no, they got two different play calls. So I don't know if they were trying to do games on the back end as I suggested, or they simply did not know what they were supposed to do. It kind of ended up the same way, and none of it was good. [00:11:10] Speaker B: Also felt like they went away from, like, a lot of the COVID 6 stuff that's been working. And, like, I think. I don't know. But no, there were, like, legitimately, a lot of times where I think I would send you a clip and you'd send me a clip. And I was like, I don't. I don't know what they're running, because I don't. I don't know that they did. [00:11:30] Speaker A: Just. [00:11:31] Speaker B: Just strange after looking so well coordinated and so well organized. I do think there's something to what you're saying of, like, them getting a little high on their own supply, like, just a little off. [00:11:42] Speaker A: And the running quarterback aspect of it, I do think is a mitigating factor, but it shouldn't be that mitigating and it might simply be okay. Green didn't have a great game. Good receivers, not great, but good receivers. Lenore is going to do the Lenore thing and then Jair Brown is out here just making all of it look chaotic because he's an agent of chaos and not in the cool way. It might just be that. And I guess we'll have a better idea on Thursday when Raheem Morris interrupts some questions, but I don't know what I was looking at. And for all of the great things that we want to say and have said about the defensive line, like a lot of that is part and parcel with. Well, the back end is so polished and Raheem's got those guys on a string and that was not the case at all in this game. And I'm curious to see if that's something that other teams can exploit or if this is just sort of a weird one off. I don't know. We'll find out in due time. Dugger. Any thoughts on Dugger in this game? [00:12:41] Speaker B: I didn't think it was terrible. I didn't think it was great. Yeah, I, I didn't think it was interesting. I don't feel like they went Adam a ton. I don't know. He. He wasn't terrible. He made a couple tackles, but he certainly wasn't as impactful and I feel like got lost one or two times letting a play get away from him. But he doesn't feel like a liability like he should. I think my takeaway if there's anything [00:13:10] Speaker A: they were in again, difficult to say, but they were in mostly zone. It seemed like the linebackers are almost always in zone. That makes the responsibilities a little bit cleaner. I think that he, he led the team in tackles. You could have fooled me watching the game live. Not that he was missing tackles, it just, he was just kind of the last man in a lot of times and they saw who was on top of the pile. [00:13:33] Speaker B: I thought he was like real quick just to, just to make a finer point on, on the actual coverage, they used Cover 3 about the same amount, 40, which is their average. But they did use. They, they've been using cover three, like cover six 20% of the time and that was down to like 13. So there was less of it. There was also like quite a bit more cover one. [00:13:58] Speaker A: Yeah, they did do a lot of man. And again. Yeah, it's a tough. Yeah. [00:14:02] Speaker B: Yeah. But it was also weird. It's just a weird. I don't know. [00:14:07] Speaker A: It's. It's really hard when you're going up against a team with good slot receivers and no matter who they slid in there as a good slot receiver to do sort of the basic outside corner led defenses. Because we're seeing this all the time with Mike Evans, we're just going to put this guy tight formation. Good luck to you. With all that you're doing. You need to play cover seven. You need to go rip Liz. You need that Kathy coverage, baby. [00:14:31] Speaker B: It's. What's interesting is like, you know, they brought these, these pressures, right. They brought these pressures and played man behind it. And that's kind of when they got beat. Like they actually didn't need to. To do that to the extent that they did. And it's not to say like every single time it didn't work. But even just like EPA wise like it shows up like they were. They got beat significantly against man and were positive against zone. [00:14:57] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:14:57] Speaker B: Anyway. [00:14:58] Speaker A: And they were good against the run all game. [00:15:01] Speaker B: Say awesome. Like James Thompson offered them nothing but man. Like Valdez and, and Halton have just been like. We've talked about it but like legitimately like revelations. [00:15:18] Speaker A: It's wild to the point where they got rid of. They got rid of Daquan Jones today. [00:15:23] Speaker B: Make one Naquan. [00:15:24] Speaker A: Apologies. Daquan Jones. [00:15:26] Speaker B: Naquan had such a good game a few weeks ago. I tried to reach out to scouts and be like, who was in charge of him? And then, and then last, last week happened. It's like, oh, he's just a guy. It's okay. I don't. [00:15:38] Speaker A: I thought last week was better than people let on, but apparently the 49ers don't agree and James Thompson's their guy and they're gonna roll with Thompson. [00:15:45] Speaker B: Fair enough. I just don't think they have a spot for him. I think they would maybe try and keep him around in the practice squad, but we'll see. [00:15:50] Speaker A: Yeah. McKinley Jackson, you're on watch, buddy. Defensively again, like Fred was everywhere. We talked about the defensive line. If you want us to go further in depth. I don't have anything to add other than Romello height even look better on second watch than live. [00:16:05] Speaker B: He's so sick. He's so sick. [00:16:07] Speaker A: And Keon White is. Is an absolute dude. Mikel is doing things to people that should not be allowed. It really doesn't make physical sense how he's able to just move people the [00:16:18] Speaker B: way that he's got like a pretty terrible get off. Like he's just. He's just like standing up and Like, I guess I'll figure it out. Granted, horrible offensive line. Truly on both sides. Like, Connerly got destroyed, so did Coleman. Even. Even their best guy. [00:16:37] Speaker A: Even Cosme. [00:16:38] Speaker B: Yeah, that was a great game. And I gave him an elite tag just for pass protection. Because coming into this, he has been. I think he's hurt, so maybe I shouldn't have counted that. I just think, like, his track record, you have to consider him an elite pass protector. But he didn't look like it in this game. [00:16:55] Speaker A: No. Because I think the Niners have an elite defensive line. [00:16:59] Speaker B: It's wild to say. [00:17:00] Speaker A: Kind of points it out. Gray's able. Looked like crap the week before. And then, you know, you'll watch him against other defensive lines. [00:17:06] Speaker B: People in a blender, like, every week [00:17:09] Speaker A: they got dudes in hell. And it is necessary. It's really necessary because now we're going to talk about the offense real quick. [00:17:17] Speaker B: Sure. I feel like every single time they've been like, a serious super bowl contender. It's all founded in the defense. And it is the corniest coach speak defense wins championship thing. But legitimately, they always have some weird stuff going on on one side of the ball with injuries. And you come back to and you're like, this is actually a championship caliber defense. [00:17:40] Speaker A: Well, defense isn't sticky. Right? Like, defense is one of these things where even week to week it can get really exploited. Whereas a Kyle Shanahan offense is about the steadiest thing. [00:17:51] Speaker B: Right. [00:17:52] Speaker A: It's the gold standard of the NFL. Like, you can get right Nick Mullins out there and they'll move the ball. [00:17:59] Speaker B: But, like, even on this, this Washington comeback, it was like pretty much all poorly timed penalties and like, and a couple, like, coverage busts and you would have one guy break out. But really, like, they were not allowing. They allowed like one explosive play, a drive that usually came after a penalty and was like a weird coverage bust, which was out of character for what they've done the previous weeks. But it was. They were not getting, like, ripped apart. It was just like dink and dunk and bad penalty and then like one play, a drive, and even Daniels wasn't beating them with the legs. [00:18:32] Speaker A: Like, no, no. It did not strike me as like, oh, I think someone's figured them out. It just struck me as like, they don't want to really be here and they're not playing well, at least on the back end. You get Fred in that defensive line and. And Duggar should be included there. And you're like, yeah, okay, that's all you Needed on defense, but weird day for the back end and if that continues, then, you know, maybe I'll start seeing a trend. But I, I didn't think like, oh, harbinger of bad things to Kai. Just thought it was a bad game and yeah, fairly unique circumstances on that though. Atlanta can maybe provide a little bit of that. We'll see as the tape gets further and further down the spool. Offensively though, they have a legit. They have a legitimate issue. They got, they got a real problem without Evans. I know that people are going to be like, Kyle will figure it out. This is, this is the one. The dam is breaking like Mike Evans had and I statistically as many targets as every other 49ers wide receiver on the team. That includes the injured and cut. He had 39 targets this year. Everyone else has 40 total. They, they can kind of get open, but not open enough to where Brock's going to throw him the ball. There is part of me that's like, well, if he doesn't have Mike Evans, he's going to have to take some chances. But I don't think Brock wants to take those chances. [00:19:58] Speaker B: There's also a component of, of size that even when Evans isn't open, Brock knows like, oh, that's a larger window with cowing and Watkins and these other guys. He's like, I don't know if they're going to break out with the right timing. There were multiple, multiple examples where Brandon Cooks blew it straight up blew it, where he ran a route too fast, didn't stem it vertically enough before breaking inside. There's a point, there's literally one where Kittles. It's like just their Yankee concept. They run it in a variety. [00:20:29] Speaker A: They ran into each other right where [00:20:32] Speaker B: it's like a vertical route and then an intermediate crossing route. They run it in a million different ways, but it's like kind of the bread and butter. If you're going to say one concept is kind of what their offense does. It's that. And Kittle literally looks back at the end of play where he's like, what are you doing? [00:20:45] Speaker A: Come on, man. [00:20:46] Speaker B: He's like, this is the thing. I run a clear out. You wait until I take the safety with it and then you break into that open space behind me and he's like. And then the safety is like, oh, I'll pick him up. I'll pick up Cooks. And then Purdy has to scramble. I thought Brock was like very good in this game and just survived. There was like maybe one occasion where he could have gotten rid of the ball quick but like not really because like he looked at Kittle first and then there's a pressure. And there were like two or three times where the protection was iffy. Boy, after being great against Seattle with it and still mostly good. Yeah, there were a couple times where at least one time in somebody was wrong. I think it was McKibbets. [00:21:28] Speaker A: At least one time we're talking about. That's. That would be the one where McKibbets picks up the inside guy and chase on. [00:21:36] Speaker B: Similarly later, not far after that, there was. [00:21:40] Speaker A: There was some weird communication stuff with the protections. And then I suggested this last night that I don't think they blitzed one time with Mike Evans on the field. [00:21:52] Speaker B: Yeah, you're. [00:21:53] Speaker A: I was wrong. They blitzed one time with Mike Evans on the field. With Mike Evans and I think I [00:21:58] Speaker B: said maybe they probably blitzed once and they did point for Jake. [00:22:03] Speaker A: They blitzed 11 times with Mike Evans off the field. Yeah, I mean it was pretty much as simple as. Is Evans there? [00:22:10] Speaker B: No, it's. We have. We need to cover. We don't have anyone. We need to cover. Like pretty much very simple. Sometimes football is like good guy on the field. Bat good guy. No longer on the field. Okay. [00:22:23] Speaker A: I mean, it's a legitimate collegiate thing because if you're blitzing. Right. The tenant of a Shanahan offense is that the answer is in the play. Well, the answer in the play against a blitz is first read. And the first read is always Mike Evans with Brock Purdy right now, every play is Mike Evans first read. He's not running clear out routes or anything. He is running routes to get yardage because Brock does not want to throw it to anybody else. He might check it down to George, he might check it down to cmc. Those are the. [00:22:53] Speaker B: A lot of attention going Kittle's way as well. There should have been, especially when. When Evans is out there. Like that's the only option. Yeah. If McCaffrey beats us underneath, so be it. [00:23:05] Speaker A: And it worked because they kept going three and out and nobody else got themselves open enough to where Brock had the time. But that's the other aspect of it. If you're blitzing with Mike Evans on the field and the only time they did it was up against their own end zone, the 49ers. So like they got totally burned on it. But regardless, if that's the case, well, now Brock's throwing the exact same ball he was going to throw, but faster. Like you've lost you've lost that down if you blitz when Mike Evans is off the field now Brock is sped up on something that he already has shown overt hesitation towards doing, which is throwing it to anybody other than 23 or 85 in that circumstance. [00:23:51] Speaker B: And you mentioned it. But like you legitimately watch him go, no, no. And it's. And it's. And these are windows like he's taken in many, many, many games in years past. And he goes, I don't trust that guy. [00:24:07] Speaker A: It is as simple as I think that's there, but I don't know that's there. [00:24:11] Speaker B: He also like is a guy will that will like thread it into a tight window. And he knows in tight windows with smaller targets with guys who do not have reliable hands, it's just like a recipe for disaster. But if he's like thinking about that consciously in the moment, that's not a functional offense. [00:24:30] Speaker A: Especially too when you're being sped up. This is the Bryce Young theory that I brought up yesterday. Tiny quarterback, you need big receivers right now they have small receivers and a tiny quarterback. [00:24:39] Speaker B: I'm with you. Can I give you three potential wrinkles? Not as solutions because everybody like we, we always mention wrinkles because it's like they're not actually going to adapt the up. They're still going to run the offense that they do. They're still going to stick to their staple concepts. You always sort of like imagine they're going to change things up more than they do because it's like fun to think about that. [00:24:58] Speaker A: But there's no revolution happening on a short week. [00:25:01] Speaker B: Right. I wonder a few things. One, maybe a little bit more of the RPO game because they hit Cooks on one when there was a pressure and they saw a safety creep down and they went, okay, I see that safety creeping. If he comes, I'm going to come. Cooks. [00:25:17] Speaker A: Yep. [00:25:17] Speaker B: And that was like a quick, quick hitter, 13 yarder. [00:25:19] Speaker A: The only, the only targeted reception to a non Evans receiver after Evans's injury. [00:25:25] Speaker B: Right. So like that. Not to say they're just going to start running in RPO offense, but I wouldn't be surprised if you see a little bit more of that number two. Do they like actually stick with like the pony thing of like having two running backs out there against Atlanta? It's like a fun little wrinkle. Not really something they do a lot of. [00:25:45] Speaker A: No, I mean I went through it. There was I think four instances ever prior to this year. They had two in that game. [00:25:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. So that sounds right. [00:25:55] Speaker A: So they do a lot of 21 personnel. But that's a fullback now. [00:25:59] Speaker B: That's the other thing. Do they go bigger and say like, actually Luke Farrell plays more snaps because we need Kittle unlocked as a receiver. More of like Kittle and Feral and Juice all on the field at the same time. [00:26:15] Speaker A: They kind of did that. They kind of did that in the second half, though. It was an exclusivity between Feral and Juice. But they did have Kittle spread out a little bit wider. That just sort of leans into what the defense wants. Unless you feel you have a really clear, good matchup. I can't speak to that with Atlanta just yet. And frankly, it's all a one off for Atlanta because you should have guys back after the buy and that receiver. But I'm not sure you want to just Travis Kelsey him. Like, I don't think that he's that guy. [00:26:47] Speaker B: The way the run game functions, they still need him. [00:26:49] Speaker A: Like, where does that work? It works sometimes with Kyle Pitts, but not really. It works sometimes. Actually, it works pretty well with Isaiah. Likely. That's about the only guy in the NFL right now where I'm like, yeah, you can spread him out wide. Or, you know, Brock fricking Bowers. [00:27:05] Speaker B: Yeah, right. Who's just a wide receiver. [00:27:08] Speaker A: Right. George Kittle can go out there, but only if they have the right personnel grouping. And then he's flexed out, but he [00:27:17] Speaker B: has to start in line as dynamic of a receiver as in years past. Like, he's having trouble separating and he's still getting it at times with like the little pivot route we talked about and the. Some shifty footwork. But he's not like snapping off on his routes as consistently. He still has like longer speed, but that sort of short. It's. It's not there as consistently for him. [00:27:44] Speaker A: He tore his Achilles in January of this calendar year, like, and now it's [00:27:48] Speaker B: like, all right, George, solve all our problems. I think last answer. And I think you, you know where I'm going with this. It's got to be in Lake Turner High. Malik. Malik Turner all day. I joke. And also he is kind of one of their larger receivers who has made catches in playoff games for them, the iron. [00:28:11] Speaker A: The irony of that is that they do. I will give compliments where they're deserved under the very specific guidelines of can you run a clear out route? Jordan Watkins can run a clear out route. [00:28:26] Speaker B: The amount of clear out routes he ran in that game, I legitimately laughed. Great cardio. I said that at one point where you just see him and he's taking people with him. They have to honor that. He's fast. Right. There's no chance the ball is going that way. [00:28:44] Speaker A: He's like Bryce Lance right now. This is what the Saints are doing, where they're like, are you fast? It's like, yeah, it's like, we're never going to throw it to you. Just run that way. [00:28:52] Speaker B: Yeah. This is what they were doing is kind of doing what I expected Denzel Boston to do, where it's just like you put a finger on him and he's like pushed out of bounds, but he can run fast. [00:29:03] Speaker A: I mean, Jordan Watkins, his one catch, he was getting absolutely destroyed up until he was no longer getting destroyed because [00:29:09] Speaker B: he came back is like, oh, he's still play. Still going. [00:29:13] Speaker A: Yeah, it was torched. I'm going to throw two, two your way. I've been advocating, advocating for this one thing for a minute now. I think Kittle in the backfield is a very viable option. Not as a running back or anything, but as the. The h back in 21 personnel set. So this would be a 12 personnel masquerading as 21. And then that gives Kittle a free release from the backfield. And use them almost like an insert blocker. [00:29:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:29:41] Speaker A: But also leaking out. You see that a little bit with what Liam Cohen's doing in Jacksonville right now was strange. I think it's a re. I think it's a really clever look because it almost forces the other team to put the linebacker on him because a lot of teams have taken that Patrick Surtan wrinkle that Vance Joseph gave them, and they haven't put their full spin on it. They haven't gone full certain because Patrick certain is also huge. But they do want to get a corner body, a bigger corner body on Kittle because, well, he's the number one option without Evans. [00:30:12] Speaker B: Should they go double space cadet, have double bump and put McCaffrey and Kittle just in the middle of nowhere, like seven yards behind the line of scrimmage and just run them from there so they don't get pressed and they just run option routes all day. [00:30:29] Speaker A: You know, honestly, kind of. [00:30:30] Speaker B: Yeah. And just say, jordan Watkins, clear everybody out. We're going to have George find space. [00:30:37] Speaker A: Just. Yeah, he's not. [00:30:38] Speaker B: His reads. His reads not even going to be. It's just going to be Georgia, Georgia McCaffrey, 1 to 2, 1 to 2 and then 3. Is Ron. [00:30:46] Speaker A: Is Juice there? Because Juice could have had a touchdown if not for a Frankie Luke knockdown. [00:30:52] Speaker B: I did also. No, I Thought that was. That was Cooks. I think that was going to Cooks. [00:30:57] Speaker A: Oh, well, it could have gone to either of them. Hard to say. [00:31:00] Speaker B: True. I also love that they did the honorary Jimmy Overthrow on the first play [00:31:05] Speaker A: or second play to juice the juice seam route. [00:31:08] Speaker B: Yeah. And then they're like, well, that was there, so let's run it to the tall guy. So they did that. [00:31:14] Speaker A: No, I swear, no one loves the skinny post more than Kyle Shanahan with Mike Evans right now. [00:31:20] Speaker B: I mean, skinniest of posts. It's. [00:31:22] Speaker A: It's. It's basically a nine route. This is like an 8.75 route. [00:31:27] Speaker B: It is. It is. [00:31:28] Speaker A: Yeah. This is not the bang aid of Kendrick Bourne last year. This is almost there. It's just a little. [00:31:34] Speaker B: Just barely even able to jog. [00:31:39] Speaker A: But he always has the right positioning. Of course, except for that one time when he didn't have the right positioning and still made the play against Seattle because he went inside leverage. Inside leverage. You pulled the. Pulled the Jacob cowing. I'm going to throw another thing at you. And I do want to explore this space a little bit. If Leonard Hankerson had his druthers, which he does not. [00:31:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:59] Speaker A: As evidenced by the players currently on the field and the fact that the 49ers are not cutting Jacob Cowing, to my knowledge, this week on the basis of they believe that he is necessary for this game against Atlanta as a wide receiver. But if Hank had his druthers and Kyle goes to Hank and says, clearly this ain't working. You tell me they would play Will Pauling. [00:32:22] Speaker B: I was just going to say, like, is it practice squad time? [00:32:25] Speaker A: Well, it's definitely practice squad time. [00:32:28] Speaker B: Right. No team has ever needed their practice squad more. Anyway, continue. [00:32:32] Speaker A: And. And aren't they thankful that they have them Sebastian Valdez already? I mean, who will be the next practice squad superstar? Or if they already used up their quota, I think it would be surprising. It would be deeply surprising, but it wouldn't be truly shocking. Right. We're talking in like a 5% chance here that Pauling is called up. Is the punt returner in a Trent Taylor honorary. You just fair catch it role and or not, you know, do your thing. He wasn't very good at it in the preseason, but he's still around and they actually have him out there. Because I don't personally think that he can do this. I've never seen him do this. But Leonard Hankerson was effusive that he can in fact do this. Even after I push back a little bit, I'M like, I what? Like, he's like, no, he, he's a really good separator. And it's like, okay, sure, sure. Wouldn't you like to. At least if you're already, and pardon the language here, totally. Shouldn't you go out with somebody that you'd at least like to see? [00:33:40] Speaker B: Like, shouldn't you go down with nine, which is. [00:33:44] Speaker A: It does not solve your problems. It does doesn't solve your problems, but it does make you feel better about your problems. At least it's new and different. At least you're not trying the definition of insanity anymore. At least in the acute definition of it. On the macro definition, it is the same thing. But I'm just saying, wouldn't shock me if we saw Pauling. [00:34:09] Speaker B: Remember John Stribling? [00:34:10] Speaker A: I do. Oh, man, he was on crutches yesterday. [00:34:15] Speaker B: I don't know if he's coming back in the regular season. [00:34:17] Speaker A: He's, he. Well, at this point, I'm not ruling anything out except for Nick Martin's not playing. That's about the only thing I'm willing to rule out at this point. [00:34:26] Speaker B: Yeah, it's, you know, the other option is to, is that you bring Brandon Codrington, who's a cornerback, who's like, never actually played corner. [00:34:35] Speaker A: Oh, he, no, no, no, he's played corner. I watched all of his reps at corner. He's awful. [00:34:40] Speaker B: Yeah, he's just a punt returner. But maybe, maybe you play him, you say, get a little Devin Hester. Did I just compare Brandon Codrington to Devin Hester? Yeah, you're absolutely right. [00:34:52] Speaker A: That's, that's some deep blasphemy here. I don't know. [00:34:55] Speaker B: I'm just looking at the practice squad. There's Khalil Dinkins. [00:34:58] Speaker A: I'm, you know, also, I'm a little bit surprised that Jordan James is not, I don't think I've ever seen him take a rep as a punt returner. And this is my naivete speaking, but, like, can't be that. Yeah, he returns kicks. He's a good kick returner, by the way. We haven't talked about that yet. Like, he's had really nice returns. They've been great. [00:35:23] Speaker B: He is no fear. He's like, I will run in a straight line and get rocked. And I don't, I don't care. I, I, he is a good kick returner. [00:35:32] Speaker A: Like, I know the ball is up there a lot higher. I know it's a very difficult job. Kick returning is, is quite different than it used to be. And it Is not the same thing. Like, I, I, I understand this, but also like, can't be that different. I saw a punter make a pat the other day. Like, it can't be that different. [00:35:51] Speaker B: By the way, the shock. I mean every punter should be able to make an extra point in a pinch. And I know Eddie's missing them, which is what Kyle's like. That's insane that he's missing them. He's right. [00:36:06] Speaker A: Yeah, it is. It is insane. [00:36:08] Speaker B: Every punter, if you can't make an extra point. Not to say you need to nail everyone, but if you can't like make like 75%, 80% of extra points. Sure. If the kicker goes down, like what are we doing? [00:36:22] Speaker A: Like, I agree. I mean I, People argue. Oh well, it messes up their, their motion. [00:36:26] Speaker B: It's like feels like ever punted or kicked a ball. It's not that complicated. [00:36:30] Speaker A: Well, I do it at their level. [00:36:33] Speaker B: Might be it's, I know it's tricky. I know it's not easy, but like not. [00:36:37] Speaker A: They just can't find a guy. Yeah, it look and I would also, I would also like to make this clear. What else are they doing all week? [00:36:45] Speaker B: That's what I mean. Like should be repping. [00:36:48] Speaker A: There should simply be an hour allocated during the week, either on company time or not, where these guys practice little dinks of 33 yard field goals. You have a leg that can deliver a football a very long distance. Just give me a quarter swing. I need that thing to just barely get over the bar. It doesn't have to. And if you. Oh, the wind. Got it. Fair enough. We just need you to putt if [00:37:17] Speaker B: you can't go on that horrible, horrible, horrible thing that is college game day. And just like put pop one is compared to like a kid that's got like stump legs. [00:37:27] Speaker A: Well, by the way, you know, shout out the stumps. The former NFL record holder. [00:37:32] Speaker B: Oh yeah. [00:37:33] Speaker A: Longest field goal. [00:37:34] Speaker B: Yes. [00:37:34] Speaker A: Used to be awesome. An old stump foot. [00:37:37] Speaker B: He's awesome. [00:37:38] Speaker A: He was awesome. [00:37:39] Speaker B: He was barefoot, right? No, no. Or did he have the toe? Because somebody had a steel toe shoe and then someone used to kick barefoot. And I think I'm conflating the. [00:37:48] Speaker A: Well there in the 80s, the late 70s and early 80s, there's a great NFL films on this. There was a weird like hippie dippy thing where the guys were kicking barefoot. [00:38:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:01] Speaker A: No one could really ever explain why. I think it was an aesthetic thing except like the Dolphins kicker did it par. See. No, it wasn't era parent. He was the head Coach. In Notre Dame. The Dolphins kicker did it. That was cool. In Miami at the Orange bowl on grass. [00:38:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:19] Speaker A: Probably not ideal like in Pittsburgh and early September on AstroTurf or at VET. At the Vet. Or certainly in the snow where they were doing it. You know, the real feel of the ball there. [00:38:32] Speaker B: And they used to just tow it, which they did. [00:38:35] Speaker A: Used to just tow. Poke it, which. [00:38:37] Speaker B: Which is kind of how Eddie kicks the ball. [00:38:40] Speaker A: Eddie's. Eddie's 33 yard field goal was delivered with an absolute force, by the way. [00:38:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:46] Speaker A: He's like the wind will get no shot at this. I am punching this thing through. I. I also. I mentioned this in the preseason. I'm gonna double down. I'm tripling down. I know it's Kyle use check. Because it's always Kyle use check. But who is the emergency kicker? Is it Corliss? Weightman? [00:39:09] Speaker B: I think it's. I. I think it's probably Weightman because Juice probably becomes emergency snap holder. Holder in that situation. [00:39:20] Speaker A: It'd be better if he was the emergency snapper. And they let John Weeks kick it. [00:39:26] Speaker B: You know what? I know we talked about Trent getting a touchdown. [00:39:29] Speaker A: Trent gets a field goal. [00:39:32] Speaker B: Trent gets a field goal and John Weeks gets a touchdown. Those are my predictions. Yeah. [00:39:39] Speaker A: They're probably losing this game. [00:39:41] Speaker B: Could you. [00:39:42] Speaker A: That's where we're at. [00:39:43] Speaker B: Like a fumble. Risky with. With John Weeks. I can just hauling John. [00:39:50] Speaker A: John Weeks would have been an all pro at any position he could have named in the 1970s. That's my official stance. [00:39:57] Speaker B: Beer keg Weeks, baby. [00:40:01] Speaker A: I feel like Jair Brown probably has the ability to kick. I need to do some locker room. [00:40:07] Speaker B: Somebody. Yeah. Someone's good at soccer on that team. [00:40:13] Speaker A: Someone. Is that just like a general feel or is that something that's in the. [00:40:17] Speaker B: Remember I said Malik Turner would be a good striker. So I assume. Assume it's him cowing. [00:40:22] Speaker A: Seems like he's. [00:40:23] Speaker B: Yeah, I was. Cowan was the next name. [00:40:25] Speaker A: Yeah, he flops. [00:40:28] Speaker B: Cowan would be a great left wing. Right. Yeah. Total winger. Where he just has no production but has one wonder goal a season. [00:40:37] Speaker A: Yep. [00:40:38] Speaker B: That. He's just like stressing the right and left backs with pace. Terrible service into the box. [00:40:44] Speaker A: So he's basically soccer for Arsenal. Of course, they still call him the wonder kid even though he's like 40 now. [00:40:51] Speaker B: You know, we know. We know exactly what type of player he is. Like 95, pace 67 in every other attribute. [00:40:58] Speaker A: Keon White is a man of culture. He probably could kick a football. [00:41:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:03] Speaker A: Yeah. James Thompson. [00:41:07] Speaker B: No, no. We're going to avoid profile. If you were to go jumbo big man package and jumbo fullback like the Lions do, I would want James Thompson to do it. [00:41:20] Speaker A: I like that a lot. He already's got the number for it. And that's the other one. I mentioned this on the postgame stream. I'd like to see some six tight end looks. Listen, they're not going to. As you said, they're not going to reinvent the offense. [00:41:32] Speaker B: You say six tight end looks. [00:41:34] Speaker A: Oh, my God. Don't. Don't give Sean McVay any ideas. They already got the personnel. I mean six offensive linemen though. When you mentioned the double bump, all I can think about is those college reps where they only do like the two or the three offensive linemen and they split the tack tackles way out wide. I think Chip Kelly's doing it a little bit more. [00:41:52] Speaker B: Yes. Proctor had one of those where he caught a screen. [00:41:57] Speaker A: Kyle Trent Williams on the numbers say yes. [00:42:01] Speaker B: Just let Trent run routes. It's like when you create a player in Madden and you just make the biggest guy possible. [00:42:08] Speaker A: Chungy McChungus, where you're like, I'm gonna [00:42:10] Speaker B: build a Running back that's £475. [00:42:14] Speaker A: It's the best. It's the best. But enough about me making myself at Madden. [00:42:20] Speaker B: I don't know if I have any other takeaways from this game. [00:42:23] Speaker A: Current practice squad at wide receiver is Wesley Grimes, Will Pauling, Xavier Smith, a former punt returner for the Rams, and Malik Turner. Can you name either of the offensive linemen currently on the 49ers practice squad? I'm not going to lie. There is a name here that I have never seen before. [00:42:47] Speaker B: I don't think I can. I have. I have the depth chart open, but I closed it for this exercise. [00:42:52] Speaker A: Good. [00:42:54] Speaker B: No. [00:42:54] Speaker A: Okay. Well, one of them is the international [00:42:56] Speaker B: pathway player, Isaac Allercon. [00:42:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:42:59] Speaker B: Oh, Drake Nugent. Drake Nugent. [00:43:01] Speaker A: Okay, apologies. Drake Nugent is there. I'm talking. I was looking at tackle. Specifically Foster Sorrell. Who is Foster Sorrell, you might ask? He is. He's a 28 year old out of Stanford. [00:43:15] Speaker B: Oh, he definitely went to school with John. Remember how John was doing like a master's program at Stanford and then he went to school with Solomon Thomas and then drafted Solomon Thomas. I gotta look this up. He's for sure. [00:43:27] Speaker A: I'm going to now quickly read Foster Sorrell's incredibly lengthy, incredibly lengthy NFL history. Signed by Baltimore as a free agent. Waived by Baltimore practice squad by Baltimore New York Giants practice squad, Chargers Practice squad. Chargers free agent signed Chargers wave him. Chargers, put him on the practice squad. Chargers, activate him. Chargers, put them on the practice squad. Chargers, activate them. Chargers, put them on the practice squad. Chargers, activate them. Chargers, put them on the practice squad. Chargers, activate them. We are now in 2022. That is one full year. Chargers ERFA tender Chargers cut Washington signed as a UDFA shocker 2025 by the way, there's just a big year gap that's unaccounted for. Washington. I do not know what TVV stands for in this abbreviation. [00:44:19] Speaker B: I do not know. [00:44:22] Speaker A: Travel taxi. [00:44:24] Speaker B: Tough to say. [00:44:26] Speaker A: And that's tvv. Not tough to say. Back to the Chargers, where he was elevated off the practice squad several times. Beyond that, Washington then resigned him. He was back to Washington as a tvv. Denver had him in August of this past year and the Niners signed him on the practice squad in September. [00:44:45] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know why we're taking shots at the random guy, but I did not know who he was. They did not. He did not go to the same class that Solomon Thomas and John lynch were in. He went to Stanford in 2017, which was when they did take Solomon Thomas. [00:45:01] Speaker A: So it's good scouting. I know this guy from my class. [00:45:07] Speaker B: Isn't that crazy? You think back to the start of this era, which is now a decade. [00:45:12] Speaker A: I don't like to think about that, [00:45:13] Speaker B: Jake, but I actually got a little nauseous saying that out loud. [00:45:18] Speaker A: What were you, 16? [00:45:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I was listening to kids bop. [00:45:23] Speaker A: And now that's what I call on my ipod Nano. The ipods are back. Here's how old we are now. I love. [00:45:32] Speaker B: By the way, I Love iPod Nano. [00:45:34] Speaker A: IPad Nano is a great machine. And yeah, the ipod Nano is like back in vogue. Like, yeah, I live right by the high school. They're all dressing like I dressed in high school and they all have ipods. [00:45:44] Speaker B: Here's the thing. The idea of childhood was kind of like that era, right? Like, we kind of got the sweet spot before phones got too good. And now everyone's trying to recreate that because we all sort of collectively realized like a little bit of technology that's like fun and sparks your curiosity, but, like. Yeah, doesn't have the brain melting capacity. [00:46:04] Speaker A: Totally. [00:46:04] Speaker B: It's a little too analog. [00:46:06] Speaker A: Yep. [00:46:06] Speaker B: It's good stuff. [00:46:07] Speaker A: Bring back the Nokia Sidekick is what I'm saying. [00:46:10] Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. [00:46:11] Speaker A: I think we could. [00:46:12] Speaker B: Yeah. Especially because if your kid needs it as a weapon, it is a lethal weapon. [00:46:17] Speaker A: Yeah, those things were heavy. I got. [00:46:21] Speaker B: I got nothing else I got nothing else as well. I think we've sufficiently not previewed and not covered this game to the fullest extent. It deserved. [00:46:31] Speaker A: Weird game, weird game. [00:46:33] Speaker B: But it did happen and they did win. And for as much as we've talked about it, I think we will properly forget about it, as is warranted, as predicted as well. Yeah. It'll probably be remembered in. My personal memory is like, oh, remember when Malik Mustafa, like, hit the hell out of a few people in that game? Yeah. [00:46:51] Speaker A: Remember Malik Mustafa before he spontaneously combusted on the field? Terrible accident where he just imploded. [00:46:59] Speaker B: I just love that he's built like this. It's just. [00:47:02] Speaker A: To be fair. Let's give Jake some flowers here. Malik Mustafa. I know that you're not the only person who had ever seen him. You were unquestionably the first person who got a total crush on Malik Mustafa. [00:47:15] Speaker B: Yeah, I was like, this kid's tremendous. [00:47:18] Speaker A: Like, February of that draft year. You're like, have you seen Malik Mustafa? [00:47:23] Speaker B: Like, yeah, he's at a forest. [00:47:25] Speaker A: Yeah. And he was awesome. That was one of those immediate tapes where you're like, I love everything about this guy. I don't even want to watch further. Like, it would only ruin it. It was love at first sight. Football. Jared Patterson still on this team, huh? [00:47:40] Speaker B: Yeah, I think. I think I probably mocked Malik Mustafa to the 49ers a half dozen times. [00:47:49] Speaker A: What do you. [00:47:51] Speaker B: I always get at least one, you know. Yeah, great. I got. I got Kaylan Black. [00:47:56] Speaker A: You did. You know you did. You did. I think your hit rate's a hell of a lot higher than most. [00:48:02] Speaker B: Yeah. You did the work. Which means a lot of wrong. [00:48:06] Speaker A: Yeah. What a shocker. People get stuff wrong. And the most inexact signs. By the way, I just. My fantasy basketball draft, which literally went up until like, five minutes before. [00:48:15] Speaker B: Awesome. [00:48:16] Speaker A: The game tipped off today, or first game tipped off today, but we did a slow draft. Highly recommended. The slow draft. [00:48:22] Speaker B: What's a slow draft? [00:48:24] Speaker A: It just takes forever. [00:48:25] Speaker B: You should all take Whippets. [00:48:26] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. We all get real dumb and then we just pick a team which, you know, probably would serve us better. No, a slow draft is like, we're going to start. It started on, like, Sunday. We got to finish it by Tuesday. And, like, you got like four or five hours to make a pick. [00:48:46] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:48:47] Speaker A: No, it's great. [00:48:48] Speaker B: That's. That's. That's the most parenthood way to draft of all time. You're like, we've got insane schedules. The idea that we're going to knock this out on one day is insane. [00:48:58] Speaker A: Well, the alternative is you can do it the way that I've run every fantasy league that I run, which is you have 30 seconds. Make a decision, you coward. [00:49:07] Speaker B: Yeah, there's no in between. [00:49:08] Speaker A: Or you can do it the exact opposite way, which is like, listen, we got to get this done. I will force a pick through here if we have to. I will allow time for sleeping. But just like your phone will ping and you will have thought about it for a while and you'll have four or five guys in the queue and you'll look at it and you'll go, which one do I want? Let's go with this guy. But it'll give you some time to like, digest and look at how things are going. And then, oh, you get a little ping. Like, oh, they took poor Zingus there. And you go, haha, you fool. Or you know, oh, he took that guy, you know, three pics earlier than me, like. But it's not this back to the [00:49:40] Speaker B: technology thing where our buddy Sam will host one that in this stupid league that we're in that I tell you about all the time. [00:49:45] Speaker A: Yeah, well, I turned down an invitation to that league because he explained the [00:49:49] Speaker B: rules a bad time. I let Jeremy Bernard go and I'm so mad at myself. [00:49:57] Speaker A: I could have told you that Aaron Rodgers loves Jeremy Bernard. [00:50:00] Speaker B: I did not mean to drop him. [00:50:03] Speaker A: And he won't give him back. [00:50:05] Speaker B: No, I mean, I, like, I made a decision and I just kind of like the next day went, oh no, oh no. And then it was too late. And you got to respect the game. You got to respect. [00:50:14] Speaker A: That's fair. [00:50:15] Speaker B: Whoever scooped them up. [00:50:16] Speaker A: That's fair. We're ball respecters here. What are you excited to see or interested in seeing with the Atlanta Falcons when we toss on that film blitz [00:50:26] Speaker B: rate what the Terrell brothers look like together. Are they both healthy? Are they both out there on the field the same time? [00:50:32] Speaker A: You can guess. [00:50:34] Speaker B: I'm almost certain. No. Let's find out if. If they are. I would love to see that. [00:50:42] Speaker A: As of right now, it appears as if they are both healthy, but does not appear as if they are both playing. So there's that. Oh man, they got some dudes also. Samson Abucom. [00:50:57] Speaker B: Oh, well, they will. They've got like a breakout year from like C.J. henderson. Yeah, yeah. [00:51:04] Speaker A: They also have a divine diablo who is effectively, I think he's completely morphed lobster style into barbecue chicken. [00:51:13] Speaker B: Oh, AJ Terrell's on ir. That explains. [00:51:16] Speaker A: He's on ir, so I didn't even read that right. [00:51:18] Speaker B: You know how, like, just deep down in your soul, you're like, one of those guys is hurt. I have not heard enough. It's devastating. Well, yeah. [00:51:29] Speaker A: Also, Jalen Walker is on ir and that makes me sad because he's a really fun player. [00:51:34] Speaker B: Yeah. This is a weird team, and I'm more excited to watch them than the commanders because of how strange they are. But I. I don't. I think it's gonna be like last year, where I am gonna watch it and come to no conclusions, and I'm gonna have no idea how this game's gonna go. And the 49ers could win. They could get throttled. And I think watching tape will not make any of that clear. [00:51:56] Speaker A: High variance, my friend. High variance. That's the fun way to do this. [00:52:02] Speaker B: That's right. [00:52:02] Speaker A: Okay, thanks for watching. And I earnestly mean that you deserve. Thanks for watching this. [00:52:08] Speaker B: Appreciate it. [00:52:09] Speaker A: We'll talk to you later.
